Optilube is a lubricant gel largely used in hospitals in order to prevent infections during surgical procedures.
Optilube Active is also a lubricant gel for sterilization, containing local anaesthetic components such as Lidocaine (2 %) and Chlorhexidine (0,25 %). The gel aims to facilitate insertion of catheters or instruments, offering the best lubrication. Whilst the local anaesthetic minimizes pain, antiseptic proprieties also decrease the risk of infection. The packaging is resistant to damage, being able to protect the application syringe even if the product is not stored in its original packaging.
