CLINIFAR was established in 1994 and it was a product of a business unit demerger from a national larger company, Paracélcia, from whom CLINIFAR integrated both humane resources and remaining assets, namely its suppliers and clients’ portfolio.
During its first two years of activity CLINIFAR was located at Rua Antero de Quental Oporto, having transferred to Zona Industrial da Carriça, Trofa, where it stayed until 2010.
Since its establishment CLINIFAR holds a permit for gross distribution of medical devices and medicine, being its core business the distribution of equipment with the following specialization areas:
- Monitoring and diagnosis
- Defibrillation
- Electro-surgery
- Endo-surgery
- Infusion
- Clinical consumption material
During 2001 CLINIFAR obtained certification for its quality management system, being one of the first companies to obtain such an accreditation, thus reinforcing its quality, professionalism and thoroughness.
CLINIFAR’s placement in the industry is not of a mere supplier, but one of a partner who seeks suitable solutions to healthcare professionals and organization’s needs. Hence, we have been developing and widening our human resources structure. Nowadays CLINIFAR is a young, dynamic and qualified team with the necessary experience to face any challenge.
In the year 2011 CLINIFAR’s new facilities were inaugurated in order to provide for the progressive company growth. Our rebranding also emphasizes yet another decisive milestone in CLINIFAR’s growth.
