The second trimester marked the sale of two PDE equipments in two reference hospitals (S. João Hospital and Local Health Unit of Northern Alentejo), highlighting the sales team efforts launched a while ago.
The PDE equipment helps to qualitatively evaluate tissue perfusion in a non invasive matter and detecting sentry ganglion without resorting to radiation, through fluorescent Green Indocyanine dye (ICG).
The equipment in highly important in the following areas:
Plastic surgery (vascular reconstruction evaluation)
Oncology – Breast cancer (sentry ganglion detection)
Peripheral perfusion (evaluation of ulcers decubitus, measuring level of amputation
Digestive Surgery (visualization of anastomosis of perfusion and definition of intestinal isquemia recession)
Burned (Evaluation of depth and recession area)
