The equipment stands-out for its robust, ease to use and functional design. The Multi-gas module eases broad breathing analyses of inhaled and exhaled gas.

The demonstration was paramount not only to publicize the equipment but also to set out Clinifar’s commitment to the anaesthesia area.

The AESOP Congress, during the 12^th and 13^th of April at the IPO Porto hall, was also an opportunity for Clinifar to be present and discuss the second open forum of operating theatre, under the topic “Thinking the future, challenge the crisis”. Throughout the event we realised pre-surgery nurses aspire for quality, security and thoroughness. We were also able to understand that people are the most important asset at an operating theatre, therefore it is extremely important for them not be isolated from the remaining of the hospital’s services. The operating theatre must be part of the people management, resources and processes equation.

The Multipurpose Intensive Care Unit of the Centro Hospitalar de Entre o Douro e Vouga EPE (CHEDV) organized, during the 28^th and 19^th of October, the 11^th Conference of Update in Artificial Ventilation, in which Clinifar was present for the hemodynamic monitoring PICCO workshop.

During 15^th and 16^th of November the Anaesthetic, Pain Medicine, Emergency and Intensive Care International Congress took place at Ipanema Park. Clinifar attended Ultrasound: Peripheral Blockage and Central Venous Access Workshop.

Along with other bedside monitors and clinical evaluations, PulsioFlex monitors at-risk patients in several different scenarios (emergency, operating theatre, intensive care unit, intermediate care and infirmary). PulsioFlex is a multiple parameter monitor for specific use in hospitals and similar facilities, by trained health professionals.

PulsioFlex can be used as an independent monitor for:

1. Arterial pulse contour analysis for continuous measurement of blood pressure, estimated cardiac output, fluid responsiveness and other resulting parameters (blood flow – ProAQT).

1. Optic fiber reflective measurement to determine the continuous measurement of blood oxygen saturation (CeVOX –oxygen central saturation).

III. Pulse oximetry for continuous monitoring of oxygen saturation of arterial hemoglobin (SpO2) and pulse densitometry to determine the concentration of Green Indocyanine, an approved diagnostic (Limon – hepatic function).
